The Issues

Politics should be about the issues that are important to you. Whether you want to be in Iraq for the next 100 years; whether protecting the planet is important to you; whether you have adequate health care; whether you and your friends have jobs; and whether tax breaks are helping you or are they helping people that really don't need help, at the risk of services that are important to you.

Many politicians in their bid for office hide behind such bogus "issues" like family values, or point fingers about other nonsensical diversions. Don't be influenced by the smoke screens. Decide what is important to you, like education. Find out how the candidates stand, and for Pete's sake VOTE! - editor
